「南段今昔」南丫南社區相展
South Lamma Then and Now: a Pop-up Exhibition

人們常喜歡以「小」來形容島。南丫島面積13.85平方公里，是長洲的5.6倍，比起由三個天然島嶼連成的青衣（10.69平方公里）還要大。在香港260多個島嶼之中排行第四。

因為地勢阻隔，使得南丫島發展出南北兩個社區。索罟灣，正是南段的中心，與北段榕樹灣一樣，設有自己的鄉事委員會、診所、警崗和街道。南丫南的海岸線變化多端，有宜居宜漁的海灣、氣勢磅礡的岩岸、水陸交接的泥灘……各個海灣的聚落，因此發展出不同的生活方式。

趁着天后寶誕，水陸居民聚首一堂，島嶼研究網絡（香港）特設小展，與大家撫今追昔。特設策展人梁寶山博士駐場導賞時段，歡迎𦲷臨交流。

Island is usually described as ‘small’. However, Lamma Island stands at 13.85 sq. km. It is bigger than Ching Yi and 5 times bigger than Cheung Chau. Lamma is ranked 4th amongst 260 islands in Hong Kong.

Because of its typography, Lamma Island is split into two distinct communities, North Lamma and South Lamma. Each has its own rural committee, police station, clinic, and streets in the centre of South Lamma, Sok Kwu Wan. The coastline of South Lamma is winding. It has lovely bays suited for fishing and for settlements; it has majestic rock cliffs; it also has brackish mud flats.

On the occasion of the Tin Hau Festival, where people from communities near and far gathered, the Island Studies Network (HK) has taken the opportunity to present an exhibition of South Lamma Then and Now. Our exhibition curator, Dr LEUNG Po-shan, will provide the docent sections while she is stationing.

博寮、舶獠，南丫島上的廟神發展

香港南丫島，是繼香港島之後，第三大島嶼。島上華洋雜處，達五十多個不同國籍的居民，可謂小地球村。然而，充滿西洋文化風情的離島，並不因大量的外籍人士聚居而完全改變了傳統華人廟宇風貌；而且，更能以新的意涵——融合中西文化，繼續發展。

講者介紹
香港史學會理事，大專講師。畢業於私立珠海大學中國文學及歷史研究所，專研香港新界風俗文化及開埠初期發展史， 著有《本土論俗：新界華人傳統風俗》，合著有《香港都市傳說全攻略》、《鬼王廚房》及《香港都市傳說大百科》，以及學術論文多篇。近年不時透過傳媒推廣本地歷史文化，如電視節目《學是學非》、《粵講粵㜺鬼》、《快樂童盟．講港舊時·講港舊街》擔任專家嘉賓、網絡傳媒節目 《港古佬》、《港古師》擔任專家主持。
